Lagunitas Elementary School District's schools enrolled 160 students in the 2022-23 school year, 11.1% less than the previous year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.9% of them were girls, and 48.1% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, making up 73.1% of the Lagunitas Elementary School District's total enrollment.

Lagunitas Elementary School District covers two schools within Marin County with its main office in San Geronimo.

Among the two schools in Lagunitas Elementary School District, Lagunitas Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 129 students in the 2022-23 school year.

In the last decade, enrollment in California elementary and secondary schools rose by at least 5%, while high school enrollment dropped 5%.

However, overall enrollment in California public schools is sliding, and the Public Policy Institute of California expects it to drop another 8% by the 2031-32 school year.
