What happened to the median home price in Fairfax during April?

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Fairfax rose by $575,000 while total sales decreased by 22.2 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,800,000 - a 46.9 percent increase over the $1,225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Fairfax in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,824, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for April.
