The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Jared Huffman, Huffman for Congress 2014, refunded $500 to Joan Mariah on Sept. 26, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Huffman for Congress 2014 has refunded $750 total since April 1.
