CITY OF MILL VALLEY: Stay Safe, Stay Home - Celebrate Safely This Holiday Season

Announcement

City of Mill Valley issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.

The COVID-19 virus continues to circulate in communities within Marin County causing severe illness, hospitalizations and deaths among our residents. Individuals can spread COVID-19 even without symptoms. This ongoing risk requires everyone to follow necessary precautions.

Currently, Marin County is seeing a surge in COVID-19 cases connected to gatherings, including dinner parties and sleep overs. As many as half of those infected have no symptoms - but they can still spread the disease to others.

While the holidays are typically a time for gathering, COVID-19 rips families apart. The most important thing you can do is to AVOID gatherings in social, work, and family situations.‍

Encourage family and friends to adopt safe alternatives this holiday season:

Give gifts, not COVID.

Spread joy, not COVID.
