Marin County is now accepting applicants for its second year of the Nonprofit Community Partners (NCP) program, an organization that provides financial aid to nonprofits.
The NCP program allots financial awards ranging between $10,000 and $40,000 once a year to nonprofit organizations in Marin County, according to a county press release. For the 2021-2022 fiscal year, the NPC will be distributing $650,000 to fund eligible community services and endeavors.
Applications are accepted online until Friday, Feb. 19, and application criteria and information are available on the County Administrator’s Office (CAO) website. Applicants must demonstrate proof that their project or service will occur within Marin County and will serve all Marin residents, regardless of background.
Once the application period is closed, the CAO staff will convene to review applications. The staff will then make recommendations for outstanding applicants to the Board of Supervisors in June of 2021. Final adoption of the selected services will then be incorporated into the Marin County budget for 2021-2022.
