Marin County Free Library issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
While numerous people in Marin have lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic, COVID-19 is also making it harder than ever to gain career skills and look for work. Here are some resources that are still available for job seekers in a modified format, whether virtually or by phone.
Having the right clothing for a job search is important. Bloom is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing two-week wardrobes tailored to each individual’s needs for low-income children and adults residing in Marin County.
Service is by referral: tell your counselor, teacher, social worker, or pastor to fill out the Referral Form
CareerPoint North Bay
CareerPoint is a “network of workforce experts on a mission to provide the highest quality employment and training solutions for the North Bay’s businesses and career seekers.”
Career counseling: leave a message by calling the number below and pressing 1. Someone will contact you within 48 hours.
