On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Novato High School standout Jake Tirk’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Saint Martin’s Saints.

The game took place at CSUSM Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Saints this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 11:40 a.m. at CSUSM Baseball Field against Saint Martin’s Saints.
