On Sunday, March 16, former Tamalpais High School standout Tucker Bougie’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, lost 11-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.
The game took place at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Louis Guisto Field against Saint Mary’s Gaels.
In January 2025, Mecklenburg County Magistrate Teresa Stokes signed the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat arrestee later accused of fatally stabbing Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light-rail.
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former Marin County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
