On Friday, March 21, former Marin Catholic High School standout Annabel Teperson’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their first matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Palmer Park against Virginia Cavaliers.
In January 2025, Mecklenburg County Magistrate Teresa Stokes signed the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat arrestee later accused of fatally stabbing Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light-rail.
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former Marin County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
