On Friday, Jan. 31, former San Rafael High School standout Angel Amesa’s current college team, the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Golden Eagles Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Otters’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m. at Otter Sports Complex against San Francisco State Gators.
