Former Redwood High School standout Ben Cohen played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Redwood High School standout Ben Cohen’s current collegiate team the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens won 2-1 against the La Verne Leopards in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field at 3:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the La Verne Leopards in the tournament.

The Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Ben Hines Field.
